I look for a check in the landscape around me.Tiles on the floor of public baths, tennis rackets, sky scenery seen from screen doors etc. There were plenty of plaid patterns there when we looked at the usual landscape a little.Kyoto likewise has a lot of checks.Fusuma of Katsura Rikyu and garden of Tofukuji, stone pavement of Hanami street etc. There is also a check in the "old" townscape.Looking down Kyoto from directly above,I find that there is the largest check there. As people live, the eyes of the go board, which has been built up, It became representative of the city of Kyoto. The check is fashion. It expresses life itself, and it exists in the side."CHECK FOR KYOTO"Based on the eyes of the board, made a check pattern, made a fashion item brand.A real "made in kyoto" born only in Kyoto. In the world "cute" is updated daily I want to make something that is not swept.
